HOWARD, SOUTH DAKOTA - Knight & Carver Wind Blade Division has named Lawrence (Larry) Person to the position of Industrial Production Manager.

In the role, Person will coordinate and oversee virtually all aspects of the company's wind-blade production and repair processes, both at its recently opened facility in Howard, South Dakota and also its headquarters site in San Diego, California. His duties begin immediately.

Most recently, Person was with Tyco Plastics in Sioux Falls, S.D., as a shift manager, a role he had for seven years. Person also has served in managerial positions with Arctic Cat in Madison, S.D. and Amoco Foam Products of Sioux Falls, S.D. A resident of Madison, S.D., Person has lived and worked in South Dakota since 1991.

The Knight & Carver Wind Blade facility is a 26,000 square foot plant located in Howard, S.D., some 60 miles northwest of Sioux Falls, S.D. The project was coordinated by Miner County Community Revitalization (based in Howard) with the full endorsement of the State of South Dakota and Governor Mike Rounds.
