SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA - Knight & Carver Wind Blade Division has announced a contract to built 25-meter wind blades for Storm Lake Power Partners I, LLC of Storm Lake, Iowa.

Production begins immediately, with delivery expected by early October, according to Gary Kanaby, Knight & Carver's Wind Blade Division manager. The initial set of three blades will be static-tested at Knight & Carver's on-site test facility in National City, CA, located just south of San Diego.

"This order marks a major break-through for our growing company," said Gary Kanaby. "These blades will be the largest blades we've ever built. We look forward to a long and successful relationship with Storm Lake Power Partners I."

The 25-meter wind blades are exclusively licensed through Euros GmbH, a firm based in Berlin, Germany that ranks among Europe's leading wind-blade manufacturers.
