Knight & Carver Announces Executive Hires
Chief Operating Officer, Composite Engineer, HR Director Added
NATIONAL CITY, CALIFORNIA - Three executive positions have been added to Knight & Carver Wind Group's leadership team. The company, which provides wind blade service and maintenance for wind farms in the U.S, has announced the hiring of the following executives:
- Mark Simon, Chief Operating Officer - An expert in strategic management planning, Mr. Simon brings more than 20 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering and operations. Fluent in Spanish, he has managed manufacturing plants in the U.S. and Mexico. Most recently, he was an auto-parts production executive based in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. He will direct Knight & Carver's continued growth in U.S. and into international markets.
- Craig Robinson, Senior Composite Engineer - Mr. Robinson has more than 20 years of experience designing, analyzing and developing products made out of composite materials. Innovations he's been involved with include industry-leading carbon fiber tennis rackets (Prince), the first carbon fiber mountain bikes and the first hollow surfboards. He brings process efficiencies to both small and large composite projects.
- Manuel Quintero, Human Resources Director - Mr. Quintero coordinates all hiring and employment for Knight & Carver. In the past year, the company has grown from 25 employees to more than 200. He joins the company after four years with automaker BMW USA based in Los Angeles. A graduate of the University of California at Riverside, he also holds a master's degree in human resources from Claremont (Calif.) College.
