Knight & Carver performs OEM warranty service for most turbine manufacturers. Please contact your turbine manufacturer and request Knight & Carver if you have blade issues.

Lightning - After a lightning strike, the blade is inspected for structural integrity, then repaired to its original state. The Lightning Protection System is repaired and certified for continuity and resistance.

Shipping and Construction Damage - Upon arrival, technicians inspect blades and repair minor damage before installation.

Internal Structural Damage - Technicians work on the interior of the blade to restore structural integrity as proscribed.

Leading Edge Erosion - Leading edges are restored to original air-foil shape.

Debonding - The leading and trailing edges are re-bonded, along with a sheer-web bond.

Structural Cracking - Structural cracks can be replaced with new laminates and the blade shape restored to original shape.

Rotor Balancing - After careful calculations, weights are added to balance the rotor set as replacement blades are installed.
